Well I just to bowl and I'm on my feet all day long at work. I have total knee placement on the left knee, I have not had problems with my right knee until now. And the inside of my right knee burns all the time.

I have had chronic knee pain for 18 years. I've had 5 knee surgeries. Doctor say there is nothing than can be done for it. I've tried pain management years ago and the things done in the name of medical science were barbaric. I have chrondomalacia plus patellafemoral syndrome. Some doctors even say that chronic pain is not a disability. I'm not eligible yet so they say for a knee replacement as I don't have that much arthritis in my knee.

I suffered knee pain because I always used to curl up and sit on my leg!! To watch the TV. I did this one time and on getting up I felt a piercing pain in my knee as I straightened my leg! It is swollen and agony and several times I almost reached the point of no return to get medical advice!! Then I finally did this and had an x-ray. No bone probs. Physio. By the time my appointment came, another six weeks later! My knee was less painful but a bit 'fluidy' and not feeling ground impact too well. Physio!! That jolted me back a couple of months! Dreadful pain! Now, another six weeks later, physio appointment cancelled Pain almost non-existent!! Great! Life is worth living again!

I just went to the doctor, to find out that the pain in my left knee was patela tenditnits and I received a cortisteriod shots. I hope this works because it has caused a lot of pain and I can't walk right now without severe pain.

I fell on to a bricked sidewalk whilst walking briskly - went down right knee first. Very painful fall. Later diagnosed as a bruised bone. This some 4 years ago - still get woken up with pain inside the knee - rather like worms crawling about!

I have pain due to overuse and the type of job that I was on. I have had treatments of Supartz, torn meniscus surgeries on both knees. I was fine for a few years and all of the sudden, chronic pain, even after cortisone treatments. I can barely walk and don't know what to do now!
