The best way to prevent ingrown hairs is to avoid shaving so closely. Applying products that contain either salicylic or glycolic acid can be helpful in areas with many ingrown hairs. Laser light treatments and electrolysis may stop or prevent hair growth altogether. Read the entire Doctor's View
