I have small lumps on the inside of my thighs that sometimes grow about the size of a quarter, when squeezed it draws out puss, blood or clear white fluid.

At first, I felt a painful lump at the base of my tailbone. I thought I had accidentally sat too long and caused the swelling. I had no idea it was a cyst. The area was back to normal in a week or two, so I didn't think much of it. Then it was back. It swelled up again. Again, I thought I had sat on my tailbone "wrong." I waited for the swelling to go back down again, which it did. I didn't experience further symptoms for months, if not years. Then, it swelled up again. This time, I squeezed around it, and liquid came out. I thought maybe that meant I had gotten it, cured the "zit" or whatever it was. I didn't experience any pain or any swelling in the area again. Literally years and years went by. Then, I had to go to the hospital because I was extremely constipated. After the scan of my abdomen, the doctor asked if I had been seen about the cyst on my tailbone. I said, "No, but I squeezed it and I think it drained." He didn't say anything further about it, so I figured it was no big deal. About two years after that, my step-mom, a nurse, told me that cysts don't just "go away:" The entire hair follicle needs to be removed. That was over a year ago, and I finally got insurance and went to the doctor. Because there were no signs on the outside of my body that this cyst existed, he had an X-ray taken to be sure that my back wasn't messed up somehow. I'm still waiting for him to get the scans from the hospital. I'm sure they'll show the truth that the cyst does indeed exist, but is completely inside my body and hidden. I hope this happens, at least, because I believe it is starting to affect the sciatic nerve in my left leg, making walking and climbing stairs uncomfortable. I'll have been to this internal medicine doctor three times, and hopefully he'll actually do a scan to see the truth of the matter so I can be treated.

Diagnosis of pineal cyst of brain, benigh. I'm having symptoms of sleepiness. I feel sleepy all the time and would rest all day. Mono test was negative. TSH results were .4. Could any of this be related to my cyst. 18 years of age. Thank you.
