I am 51 years old and I have arthritis in my knees, ankle, hips, and my right hand, elbow and arm. My hand and arm swells so bad that I can't pick up anything. My doctor had me on Mobic but it didn't work very well. Now she has added Cymbalta also and it makes me sick. I get and keep a headache all day and the nausea is terrible.

I had severe pain in the right shoulder. After two days, it spread to my shoulder, elbows, wrists, thumbs, and all fingers. I was in in the hospital for 6 days and now I feel better. I was taking prednisone and 10 mg of methotrexate once a week before. I also took Folate once a week and Mobic every day. I am 65 years old.

I had a dislocated elbow at age five but didn't start hurting until I was in the Navy and fell on it. At that time doctors in navy said I had arthritis after I fell on it. I never had problems with my elbow all my life until I fell on it.

I have had arthritis for years and have taken different drugs. I was on Vioxx until it was taken off the market. Then I was on Celebrex until my doctor said it was affecting my kidneys and took me off Celebrex. Also, immediately I started having headaches and my hand felt like it was half asleep. I was put on antibiotics several times and they made me very sick. I went to a throat, nose and ear doctor and he decided I had arthritis in my jaw bones. My doctor put me back on Celebrex but half the dose, and in two days I am feeling better.

I am 50 years old and have just discovered that I have arthritis from the presenting signs and symptoms of stiff joints and limited movements. I do not have pains feelings but muscles get stiff and feels tired and weak with impaired circulation especially during long periods of rest. My back is also getting stiff and I use pillows for back support that allows alignment and reduce stiffness.

I have been suffering since 4 years, I use to take Diclogesic 50mg every day to get relief from the joint pains. I am not able to carry a pot of water now. I mean I am avoiding lifting the loads. Lifting of the weight is reflecting in the joints, getting swelling of the joints and unbearable pain. Now I have stopped taking the tablet, doing regular exercise. Whenever get swelling, I wrap sprain bandage to control the swelling and to get relieved from the pain.
